Vanilla Cupcakes

Ingredients:
1 ½ cups (190g) all-purpose flour
1 ½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
½ cup (115g) unsalted butter, softened
1 cup (200g) sugar
2 large eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
½ cup (120ml) milk

Method:
1. Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F) and line a 12-cup muffin tin with cupcake liners.
2. Mix dry ingredients: In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
3. Cream butter and sugar: In another bowl, beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy (about 2-3 minutes).
4. Add eggs and vanilla: Beat in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla.
5. Combine: Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture gradually, alternating with the milk. Mix until just combined.
6. Fill liners: Divide the batter evenly into the cupcake liners (about ¾ full).
7. Bake: Bake for 18–20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
8. Cool and frost if desired
